AzRISE is researching innovative policies aimed at making long-lasting structural changes in the marketplace.  Our priority is to determine the most effective way to obtain widespread adoption of solar energy at both the utility scale and the community level. Areas of study include:

·         Utility rate design

·         Local, state, and federal incentives

AzRISE works with key stakeholders both locally and nationally to identify, address, and overcome the policy barriers currently impeding solar energy implementation.  From interconnection standardization to net metering and public financing – AzRISE is analyzing best practices and lessons learned from around the world as well as forming new innovative policies designed to spur a healthy solar energy market.
